Contra Costa County is primarily suburban, located in the northeastern portion of the San Francisco Bay Area. Points of interest include Mt. Diablo for hiking and picnicking, the Antioch Delta for jet skiing and boating, John Muir National Historic Site, and more than 20 parks. It has several points of access to BART stations as well as two small airports located in Concord and Byron. It is comprised of 19 cities and numerous unincorporated communities. Incorporated cities within Contra Costa County include Antioch, Brentwood, Clayton, Concord, Danville, El Cerrito, Hercules, Lafayette, Martinez, Moraga, Oakley, Orinda, Pinole, Pittsburg, Pleasant Hill, Richmond, San Pablo, San Ramon, and Walnut Creek.
